Some things can only come from experience.

Sheriff Jones has experienced both the highs and lows of Lee County.

One day, he may be helping to organize deputies to help with security for Auburn University sports and meeting community members at events.

The very next day, he may be having to break the devastating news to a family about the loss of one of their loved ones or leading the community through a tragic event like the 2019 tornadoes.

The ability to navigate through events like these is one that can only come from experience, which Sheriff Jay Jones has spent his career attaining by serving our community.
